Medicines are finished pharmaceutical products for distributors, pharmacies, hospitals and health networks, in presentations that do not require refrigeration.

Even without a cold chain, they have a temperature range recommended by the manufacturer, generally up to 25°C or 30°C, and the point of attention becomes heat accumulated during waiting periods. Traceability is the other axis: batch and expiry must remain documented from loading to delivery, because the pharmaceutical chain works with batch control.
