Laboratory reagents are substances and solutions used in clinical analysis, quality control and research, generally supplied in vials or kits.

They are small shipments with high technical demands: many need refrigeration, others protection from light, and much of the range has a short shelf life, which makes total time to destination as important a variable as temperature. A single kit can contain items with different technical classifications.
