Privacy Policy
How AVM Cargo handles the personal data collected on this website.
Last updated: 23 August 2026.
1. Who we are
AVM Cargo Logística Internacional LTDA, registered under CNPJ no. 68.727.444/0001-67, works in international freight forwarding for imports and exports. This policy explains how we handle the personal data collected on this website, in accordance with Brazilian Law no. 13.709/2018 (LGPD). It applies to this website, and not to third-party services you may reach from it.
2. What data we collect
Data you provide. When you fill in the quotation request form, we collect your name, e-mail, company, phone number, the shipment details you describe and the information about RADAR authorisation. When the form is opened from a commodity page, the corresponding cargo type is also sent. These fields are filled in by you and only transmitted when you complete the submission.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use browser local storage to remember your language preference (Portuguese, English or Spanish). This information is essential to how the site works, stays on your device and does not identify you.
We may also use third-party cookies and similar technologies to measure site audience, understand how pages are used and assess the performance of digital advertising campaigns, including showing AVM Cargo ads on other platforms. When these tools are active, the data they collect is also processed by the respective providers, under each one's privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Cookies that are essential to the website may be required for it to work properly.
Technical access data. As with any website, the hosting service and the content delivery network may log technical connection data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and to keep the site secure.
3. What we use it for
The data sent through the form is used to answer your request, prepare the quotation, carry out the commercial relationship and follow through with the international transport operation, if it is contracted. We do not use this data to send unsolicited communications and we do not sell it.
Processing relies on the grounds set out in article 7 of the LGPD, in particular the data subject's own request, preliminary contract negotiations and the legitimate interest in commercial service.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or trade personal data. Sharing only happens where it is necessary for the website to work or for the service to be delivered:
Form submission. The form on this website is processed by an external form-forwarding service (FormSubmit), which transmits the content you filled in to our commercial team's e-mail address.
Typefaces. The fonts used on the site are loaded from Google Fonts. When you open a page, your browser connects to Google servers, which may log technical data such as the IP address.
Measurement and advertising. When audience analysis or advertising campaign tools are in use, browsing data may be shared with the providers of those tools, to the extent necessary for their purpose.
Carrying out the operation. If you contract our services, the data needed for the shipment may be shared with those involved in that specific operation, such as carriers, agents and competent authorities, to the extent required to perform it and to comply with legal obligations.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact and request data for as long as necessary for the service and the commercial relationship. Data linked to operations actually contracted is kept for the periods required by applicable legislation. You may request deletion at any time, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and we adopt reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is entirely immune to incidents, but we work to reduce that risk and to act quickly should one occur.
7. Your rights
This website has no sign-up area and no login: you do not create an account and you do not keep a profile with us. The data we hold is what you yourself sent us by form, e-mail or WhatsApp. For that reason, the rights guaranteed by the LGPD are exercised by request to our team, and not through self-service.
On request, and once we have confirmed your identity, you may: find out whether we process data about you and what it is; correct incorrect or outdated information; request deletion of data that is not necessary or whose retention is not required by law; obtain information about who we share it with; and withdraw consent, where that was the basis for processing. You may also file a complaint with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
8. How to exercise your rights
For any request relating to personal data, write to contato@avmcargo.com.br or use the contact channels listed in the footer of this site. We will reply as soon as possible.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, to the tools we use or to the legislation. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
